The 2023–24 season has only begun, but rumors regarding Barcelona’s new uniforms have already begun to circulate.
In European soccer, it has been regular practice for shirt designs to leak ahead of time. For example, the Twitter account called “Memorabilia1899” recently said that it has discovered the following season’s Barcelona jacket design.
The 2019-20 Barcelona pregame jacket
The account reportedly released the design of the pre-match jacket to Mundo Deportivo.
The garment’s style is deceptively straightforward, with blue and red overlays on the sleeves and a mostly blue torso.
The Barcelona logo is gold and features an exquisite stripe pattern, while the Nike logo is silver.
Kit for Barcelona’s next season
These latest revelations from @memorabilia1899 follow on from the design of next season’s home uniform, which was also revealed by the same Twitter user a few weeks ago.
Barcelona’s 2008–09 treble–winning home uniform served as inspiration for this year’s design.
The shirt, like the jersey of yesteryear, was split between two different hues of blue and red, with the sleeves producing the same pattern in reverse.
Needless to say, the design of the house kit goes nicely with the design of the jacket, giving additional weight to these rumored looks.
A Twitter user known as “FootyHeadlines” has made a name for himself by leaking early kit designs, so it will be fascinating to see whether other users corroborate this leak in the coming months.
