Neymar, a former teammate of Lionel Messi’s, recently sustained a torn ACL and meniscus while playing for Brazil’s national team. 

On Wednesday night, while playing for his country in a World Cup qualifying game against Uruguay, the ex-PSG and Barcelona attacker suffered the agonizing injury. 

He needs to get healthy fast if he wants to play in the Copa America next summer in the United States.

The injury has been confirmed, and since then, tributes have poured in for the Al-Hilal star, who may be out for the rest of the season. 

Lionel Messi, a former teammate of his at Barcelona and PSG, posted a message of support for him on Instagram.
