In the past few months, the Boston Celtics have gone through a lot of changes. They’ve made some important moves that have made them perhaps the strongest team in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.

Star big man Kristaps Porzingis adds a new dimension to the offense with his scoring and ability to play on both ends of the court. Veteran point guard Jrue Holiday’s defensive prowess, shooting, and ability to make plays go well with All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

With Tatum, Brown, Porzingis, and Holiday, the Celtics now have a “big four.” If you add All-Defensive point guard Derrick White and veteran forward Al Horford, Boston may have the best core of any team in the league going into the 2023–24 season.
