In 2012, Nike prepared a whole sneaker pack for their athletes to debut at NBA All-Star Weekend. They made the “Galaxy” Nike Foamposites, which caused crowds to riot when they were first released, and other highly anticipated hues. When compared to the Nike Kd 4 “Galaxy,” the shapes of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James pale in comparison. Nike will re-release them in the spring of 2024 for the first time.
Metallic Silver/Total Orange-Dark Grey is the official colorway code for these sneakers. Metallic silver and complete orange, like an astronaut’s space suit, cover the entire top. A transparent blue ice sole tops off a black midsole speckled with white to represent stars. The top strap and Kevin Durant’s All-Star emblem on the tongue are the shoe’s most noticeable features. This shoe has a resale value of almost $500 as of this writing.
