Ryan Gravenberch, a midfielder for Liverpool, had nothing but high regard for new teammate Dominik Szoboszlai.
Dominik Szoboszlai was an excellent investment for Liverpool when he signed with the club. However, his current trajectory is truly elite, which will only benefit the Reds in the long run.
Liverpool’s late-summer acquisition Ryan Gravenberch said that Szoboszlai is off on a tangent. He goes on to express his admiration at the 22-year-old Hungarian’s training prowess.
Thanks to Jurgen Klopp and company, the Reds’ midfield, which was put to the test before the summer transfer window, has undergone a successful revamp. There are still some gaps to fill, but the most pressing problems—most of which are age-related—appear to have been put to sleep for quite some time.
Speaking to Sky Sports on their Reddit AMA video on YouTube, Gravenberch talked about Szobo and here is what the former Ajax man had to say:
“I think it was Dom Szoboszlai,”
“Because this guy’s shot is… it’s crazy!”
“Also sometimes in training, sometimes we shoot after training and it’s like ‘one, two, three’, they go all in. Crazy things. So I think it’s Dom with his shot.”
Sometimes we shoot just after a training session, and it’s like “one, two, three,” and they give it their best. Weird stuff. So, I’m guessing that Dom fired the shot.
Big Dom Szoboszlai
Both of the former Leipzig player’s goals were scored from long range, and boy, were they ever spectacular.
Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo, and Szoboszlai, the four new midfielders, will undoubtedly help the Reds return to the top of English football after a disappointing domestic campaign
