The Milwaukee Bucks won their first game with rookie point guard Damian Lillard by a score of 108 to 97 over the Los Angeles Lakers. Lillard scored 14 points and dished out three assists in 22 minutes of action.

   

Milwaukee was paced by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had 16 points and eight rebounds. Bobby Portis, who came off the bench, scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 21 minutes of action.

  

Lakers power forward Anthony Davis had 16 points.

On October 17th, the Milwaukee Bucks will play a road game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
