The 38-year-old NBA star had already torn down a $37 million home on the Beverly Hills hillside lot.

In 2020, James bought a house in the well-known Los Angeles neighborhood for the first time.

He was able to get $2 million less than the asking price for the 2.5-acre plot, which was $39 million.

The original house had eight bathrooms, seven fireplaces, a tennis court, a movie theater, a swimming pool, and a pool house. It had four bedrooms and was built in the 1930s.

The Mediterranean-style house had a view of both Beverly Hills and the Pacific Ocean, but James may have had a better idea for how to make the most of the views.

Building blocks for the new house have been laid, and part of the land looks like it was built into the hillside.

Along other parts of the land, pillars and retaining walls have been built to hold things in place.

When it’s done, this will be James’s most valuable piece of land.

James' new home will be his second in Los Angeles along with his $23 million Brentwood mansion

Another house he owns is in Brentwood, California. It costs $23 million and he’s had it since 2017.

It’s the main home for the James family and is huge, at 16,000 square feet with eight bedrooms and eleven bathrooms.

The house also has a spa with a steam room, sauna, massage room, and a movie theater. It also has a wine store and a room for cigars.

The exact layout of James' new home is unclear

James also has a $9 million house in Ohio, which is his home state.

This 30,000-square-foot house has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It was bought in 2003 for $2.1 million.

The city also has a lot of nice things, like a hairdresser, a recording studio, a movie theater, and two lanes of bowling.

James is getting ready for his 21st NBA season right now.

The oldest active player in the league, his reaction to learning he had hit this milestone went viral not long ago.
