Lionel Messi has no interest in returning to Barcelona on loan in the new year.

Despite the MLS taking a four month pause during the winter, Inter Miami head coach Tata Martino has already shot down rumors of a Messi return to Catalonia.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer specialist, has backed up Martino’s remark by saying that Messi will be ready to play in friendlies for Inter Miami in November, before taking a break in December.
