Chris Paul Gives an Extensive Analysis on His Role with the Warriors

When the new NBA season begins in about a week, fans of the Golden State Warriors can’t wait to see Chris Paul in action for their team.

The Warriors gave up 2022 Finals MVP and sharpshooting guard Jordan Poole in exchange for the future Hall of Famer, who will be 38 years old by then.

According to Warriors on NBC Sports, Paul isn’t concerned about the effectiveness of the move because he’s done similar personnel moves in the past.

Paul spent the first twelve years of his career with the New Orleans Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA. He has now played for four other teams, the most recent of which being the Warriors.

There is some question as to how well he would fit into the Warriors’ system, as they have traditionally been a fast-breаking club that relies heavily on ball and player movement in its set offense.

If this arrangement worked, Paul would help the team by playing less minutes and taking on less of a load himself, and he would also benefit from lessening the workload of Stephen Curry, who is 35 years old.

Chris Paul’s scoring averages (in points and shooting %) have declined significantly over the previous year and a half, which is another cause for concern for the Warriors.

He has never won an NBA championship, and the current Warriors team may be too old to win another championship during his lifetime.
