On Tuesday, Neal Skupski will add to his already excellent week by accepting Jurgen Klopp’s longstanding invitation to play padel at Liverpool’s training facilities.
Skupski, a diehard Reds fan and one of the British Davis Cup heroes from Sunday night, is set to meet Klopp on the padel court at the club’s Kirkby headquarters and see a drill. Manager Klopp and a few other staff members are big fans of racquet sports, so they built a court for the team.
Last summer, when Skupski’s brother Ken, who also serves as his coach, and Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders were both in attendance at Wimbledon, they were invited to meet with Lijnders.
