‘GOLDEN SHINING’: McTominay becomes unsung hero when completing national mission with ‘outstanding performance’

The midfielder Scott McTominay, who plays for Manchester United, thought he had broken the deadlock against Spain when his free kick from the left side of the box beat everyone and flew directly into the top right corner of the goal.

McTominay’s happiness was short-lived, however, as the goal was overturned by the video assistant referee (VAR).

McTominay went crazy with joy when he thought he had scored for his nation, and he celebrated by going wild.

However, he was frustrated when his goal turned out to be impossible.

It was determined that Jack Hendry was in violation of the offside rule because he was standing too close to the goalkeeper for Spain, Unai Simon.

When McTominay realized that his goal had been disallowed, he threw his bottle on the ground in frustration.

After only approximately ten minutes from that point, Scotland was forced to give up a goal as Alvaro Morata deftly entered the penalty area to grab Jesus Navas’ cross and hit the opening header for Spain to take the lead in the game.

In the meantime, Facundo Pellistri began having difficulty being exact and controlling some aspects of the game. After that, he took part in the production of the initial dangerous approach, drawing a good diagonal and making opportunities for his colleagues. However, his lack of perfect control stopped him from finishing the race in comfort.

Casemiro played well against Venezuela, had an attempt that was blocked effectively, and was effective in his ball control throughout the encounter. When he is not required to defend, his defensive flaws become less obvious.
