Just now, NBA fans found out that Austin Reaves has a TikTok alter ego.

LA Laker, who is 25 years old, has a TikTok account where he posts videos of himself on the golf course that show what goes on behind the scenes.

Reaves signed a five-year, $56 million deal to stay in Los Angeles. His TikTok name is “Hillbilly Bogey.”

He posts movies to the account by clicking on the links.

Not long ago, he shared a video of himself hitting a shot far into the distance at Topgolf, an indoor driving range.

Fans were shocked when they learned it was the Lakers shooting guard who hit the ball in the video, which has now been seen 412,000 times. Somebody wrote, “Bro, it looks like Austin Reaves,” and then they realized it was Austin Reaves.

“Saw this and didn’t know it was him,” said the second.

“No way,” gasped someone else. “What does he not do?”

A fourth person said, “That’s crazy.”Reaves is about to start his third NBA season.

He really came on for the Lakers in 2022, when he averaged 13 points and made almost 40% of his three-point shots.

There was a lot of interest in Reaves as a free agent, but he chose to stay in Los Angeles rather than take more money from another team.

ESPN’s Zach Lowe hosts a podcast called the Zach Lowe Post. On the most recent episode, Reaves said, “They pretty much made it pretty clear that they were going to match whatever.”

“You think about it a little bit, but at the end of the day, I wanted to be in Los Angeles.”
