Kobe and LeBron: A memory of great things being friends

Everyone at Kobe Bryant’s funeral service on Monday at the LA funeral Sports Center was moved to tears, and it was a wake-up call for everyone in the basketball world.

He wasn’t one of the famous people whose faces were scanned at the Staples Center, but he did talk about Kobe during a recent practice, saying it had been hard to talk about. Kobe famously said of LeBron, “I’m the type of killer that wants to kill you and your whole family.” This shows that they had a lot of respect for each other. He only wants to be liked. Getting wins is important, and I love playing baseball. He’s not a killer like Mike and I are.

While Kobe Bryant scores more points per game than LeBron James of Cleveland, that is not the only thing that should be thought about.

King James is the best NBA player when all major data categories are taken into account. He also grabs the ball 1.6 times per game, steals 1.6 times per game, blocks 0.7 times per game, and assists 7.0 times per game.

Kobe scores 25.1 points per game, assists 4.7 times, steals 1.4 times, blocks 0.5 times, and boards 5.2 times. He is second in the NBA in scoring. King James is 58.4% better than Kobe in terms of True Shooting Percentage. You should remember that Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are two of the best NBA players of all time, but their games are worth a lot more than points per game. There are a lot of data areas where King James does better than Kobe.

He may also be more efficient because his True Shooting Percentage is better than that of NBA players. In every important data area, he comes out on top.
