You were in Tegueste (Tenerife) three years ago, but now you have a League with Barça and a one billion euro termination clause… plus a cover story in Men’s Health. How does that process work?

Actually, I get along OK, thanks in large part to my brother, who is always there for me and gives me a hand with whatever I need. My parents and grandparents instilled in me the values of patience and stability. That’s what I’m aiming towards, anyhow. Just take it easy and appreciate each day as it comes.

Now, tell me, what excites you even more! The League, a Billion Dollars, the Front Cover of Men’s Health…?

What I think the League is most important for is… well, everything. I’ve been doing this work since I was a kid, and now I’m finally being paid for it.

You are the second-youngest person to be on our cover, after Carlitos Alcaraz, and I think you share many qualities with him: a level mind, humility, the love and support of your family, etc. Is that what successful people do?

Definitely. I think Alcaraz and I both rely significantly on the morals and ethics that were instilled in us by our families. I pay a lot of attention to Carlitos’s game. I’ve had brief conversations with him on occasion and am looking forward to finally meeting him.
