Jude had to learn to love football. After playing tag instead of football during his neighborhood’s Saturday morning practices, he caught the bug at 7 and joined Birmingham City Football Club’s academy for 10 years.
Jude Bellingham, an 11-year-old Birmingham boy who had just started secondary school, was enjoying his last Christmas holidays in January 2015. Like other kids his age, he enjoyed Caribbean food, Batman, and hanging out with pals.
He was passionate about football and played every opportunity to play, including break time, lunchtime, and outside play with friends. He recalls that football was our only activity.

It’s clear that this strategy has drawn a young audience eager to appreciate innovation and its uniqueness. That generation includes Jude Bellingham. someone who values self-expression. I strive to be honest, says the footballer. I may have caused some difficulties with my interviews this season, but I always feel like it’s just me speaking—not my “brand” or how I should communicate to avoid offending people. No matter what I do on the field or off, it’s me. I try to be myself since I know I’m courteous.
