It’s the kind of partnership one thought was only possible in video games or fantasy drafts. Yet here they were, two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and seven-time All-NBA team member Damian Lillard, wearing the same Milwaukee Bucks jerseys during the annual media day. Giannis had to rub his eyes to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. The scene before him seemed almost too surreal to be true.

“Having a guy like Dame on the team, it’s unbelievable. He knows how to play the game, plays the game at a high level. Built from the same cloth. Wants to win, is extremely hungry,” said Giannis of Lillard, who the Bucks acquired in a blockbuster deal last week.
