Liverpool is appealing Curtis Jones’s red card after VAR stepped in to stop a ‘leg-breaker’ tackle at Tottenham

Reports say that Liverpool has made an appeal against the red card given to Curtis Jones at Tottenham.

A bad charge by Jones caused Spurs midfielder Yves Bissouma’s boot to go over the ball and hit him in the shin. Jones was given a yellow card.

Referee Simon Hooper was told to watch the attack again, and he did. After doing so, he changed the card from yellow to red.

Jamie O’Hara, a conversationSPORT host who used to play for Tottenham said, “It’s a shocking challenge.” A break in the leg.”

Sky Sports commentator Gary Neville, on the other hand, said, “No, no, no.” I know what it’s like to do someone because I’ve done it myself. But he wasn’t there to do someone.

It looks like the end motion went badly, but that’s not how it ended; his foot just slipped off the ball.” While it’s not a red card yet, he will get one, which will likely end the game.

“PGMOL acknowledges a significant human error occurred during the first half of Tottenham Hotspur vs. Liverpool,” the league said in a statement.
