It will take Luka Doncic to be the straw that stirs the cup if the Dallas Mavericks are to have a stronger season in 2023–2024. One of the most gifted offensive players in the league is the Mavs’ star forward, but there are many concerns over his conditioning and defense.

Recently, Doncic’s handling even amazed Kyrie Irving, which is encouraging for his offensive style. The team brought back a sharpshooter who might make the attack even more lethal, and Mavs head coach Jason Kidd shared his thoughts on him.

Fans commended Doncic on Saturday night for his humility in response to a question he answered on Twitter that was posted by a Mavs page.

The way Doncic responded surprised a lot of fans.

German-born Nowitzki spent his whole NBA career with the Mavs, where he averaged a career-high 26.6 points in 2005–06. Nowitzki, who is 6-foot-11 to seven feet tall, could have easily outjumped Doncic, who is classified as 6-foot-7, with his jump shot.

Doncic shown his ability to shoot from outside the field, put the ball on the floor, drive to the hoop, and finish with a delicate touch anywhere around the basket last season with a career-high 32.4 points.
