PREDICTED LINEUP: Arsenal vs Bournemouth: The nᴜclear trio return; Saka continues the record

Arsenal face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium in today’s Premier League clash.

With a spirited 1-0 victory over Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup, the Gunners got their winning streak back on track midweek. The winning goal was scored at Gtech Community Stadium by Reiss Nelson.

In order to maintain their lead over Manchester City at the top of the league standings, Mikel Arteta’s team will need to defeat the Cherries on the road.

After the draw in the North London Derby, the difference is already four points. Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, and William Saliba are all visiting Bournemouth in advance of today’s match, giving the team a triple boost.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya has started the last two Premier League games for the Gunners and it is anticipated that he will reclaim the gloves from Aaron Ramsdale. The Englishman made a stunning save at Brentford in midweek, but he is likely to drop to the bench.

It could be the same back four from the Spurs draw. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jakub Kiwior were brilliant on Wednesday and the latter made a superb goal-line clearance. Despite this, they are likely to make way for Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko. Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes will complete the defence.

.

Rice seems to have recovered from a back problem in time for the Cherries game. The Englishman should replace Jorginho in the number six role. Fabio Vieira was not spotted in the training pictures released by Arsenal and he could be doubtful for the game.

If he is unavailable, Kai Havertz is a natural choice in central midfield for Arteta alongside club captain Martin Odegaard, who will replace Emile Smith Rowe. Havertz has yet to make a goal contribution for the club, but he was unlucky in midweek where he should have had an assist.

Further forward, Saka looks on course to continue his Premier League record for consecutive appearances, having recovered from a foot injury. It should be the same front three from last weekend with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah starting too.

Nelson and Charles Sagoe Jr will make way. Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard are injured.
