Arsenal players beam as training to prepare for the clash with Bournemouth but 6 stars were absent

In the past two weeks, the Gunners have developed a number of injury concerns. Leandro Trossard was declared out prior to last Sunday’s derby match against Tottenham, thus Gabriel Martinelli has missed his team’s last three contests.

In that game, Bukayo Saka hobbled off before the end of regulation, forcing Declan Rice to leave the field in pain.

Mikel Arteta stated during a news conference that none of the four had engaged in any training before to the club’s final session on Friday afternoon.

He also disclosed that there were recent questions about William Saliba and Fabio Vieira before of Saturday’s game.

‘Declan hasn’t trained yet, we have a session in an hour, we’ll get more news about him,’ Arteta said. ‘Gabi [Martinelli] hasn’t trained, Leo same situation, Saka, same. They are all in the same pool.’

He continued: ‘Willy had a knock, Fabio wasn’t involved,’ confirmed Arteta. ‘We have to assess them today.’

In a training gallery shared by Arsenal on Friday evening, none of the six were spotted in training ahead of their trip to the Vitality Stadium.
