The starting lineup that we believe Manchester United will use against Crystal Palace, their second match in five days, is as follows.

The Carabao Cup match on Tuesday was swiftly followed by a Premier League matchup with the same opponents, as is customary.

On Tuesday, Manchester United proved to be too strong for Palace, winning 3-0 at Old Trafford.

Now that they are back at the Theatre of Dreams, it appears likely that the commanding victory will be repeated, with Erik ten Hag likely to have a stronger lineup.

This is how we envision United lined up when they visit Palace at Old Trafford once more.

Back in the Premier League, Ten Hag should revert to his full-strength lineup with a rested and rejuvenated pair.

After a lackluster start, Andre Onana in goal will continue to play that position as he attempts to record his third consecutive clean sheet.

Due to our excellent defensive performance against Crystal Palace, Harry Maguire should continue to start behind Raphael Varane in lieu of Lisandro Martinez, who is sidelined due to injury.

Diogo Dalot should be able to maintain his stellar play at right back, with Sofyan Amrabat likely to start on the left, at full back.

Especially with Sergio Reguilon still recuperating from injury, he provides the option to invert and enter the middle when in possession. He was amazing against Palace.

Casemiro ought to start in midfield exactly like he did against Palace in the middle of the week.

In a three-man midfield, Mason Mount should occupy a somewhat deeper role beside him. Hannibal Mejbri will be the third midfield player.

After his outstanding goal last week, Bruno Fernandes returns as the right-sided attacker, having had a full week to relax.

Marcus Rashford then makes a comeback on the left, but Alejandro Garnacho is closing in on him, so he will need to get better.

Rasmus Hojlund, up top, is back in an attempt to increase his season total.

Predicted XI: Onana; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Amrabat; Casemiro, Mount; Fernandes, Hannibal, Rashford; Hojlund
