The NBA and the Golden State Warriors are very close to reaching an agreement that would see the 2025 All-Star Game held at Chase Center.
During All-Star Weekend in 2025, the Golden State Warriors will reportedly host the event at Chase Center thanks to plans made by the NBA, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Unlike in previous years, a venue for the 2025 event has not been confirmed as of yet. However, a large number of credible sources point to San Francisco as the best option.
The Warriors’ stadium is hosting the event for the second time for All-Star Weekend. In 2000, when they were still based in Oakland, it happened for the first time.
While California has frequently played home to All-Star events, San Francisco has never done so. The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers play their home games at Staples Center, where this event was previously held in 2018.
The 2025 NBA All-Star Game roster has not yet been announced, but it seems unlikely that Warriors superstar Stephen Curry would be absent.
Curry, at 35 years old, has maintained the poise of a superstar. On the other hand, the Chef should make one of his final appearances at this gathering.
