NBA superstar Stephen Curry and his family call a $9 million mansion home.
When the Golden State Warriors moved from Oakland to San Francisco in 2019, point guard Stephen Curry had to leave the East Bay. The huge mansion owned by the NBA player and his wife Ayesha is back on the market.
The current owner, Sam Hirbod, claims that he paid $6.4 million for the Alamo suburb mansion in an off-market deal in 2019. The asking price for Curry’s previous home has increased to $8.9 million after three years on the market.
There are eight and a half bathrooms and six bedrooms in the Currys’ mansion, which is situated on more than half an acre of land. Make them a one-of-a-kind playhouse, complete with a garden for Ayesha and a movie theater for Stephanie.
Stephen Kubitschek was hired by the couple to oversee building of their home. The 8,163 square feet of living space features two fireplaces and heated Italian oak flooring, both of which contribute to the space’s ultra-modern atmosphere. There are 30 foot ceilings throughout the building.
The layout encourages people to move freely between the indoors and outdoors, as do many contemporary homes. There is a cabana, a saltwater infinity pool, a pizza oven, a smoker, and a barbeque in the backyard, which is accessible from the living room.
There are also a ton of high-end extras, fit for a basketball king. The state-of-the-art projector and sound system in the media room reportedly cost Steph $500,000, as stated by Hirbod.
Ayesha is a serious foodie, so her kitchen is outfitted with two islands, high-end appliances from Miele and Sub-Zero, and elegant European-style cabinetry. The attached garage can accommodate as many as seven vehicles.
The master bedroom is quietly tucked away on the second floor, away from the rest of the house. The old Curry suite was luxurious, but this one tops it all with a 1,160 square foot patio and three large closets. Here is your chance to fulfill your lifelong dream of competing at the professional sports level.
