The Dallas Mavericks’ training camp has begun, and Luka Doncic has stated that he is excited to get along better with teammate Kyrie Irving.
A full preseason spent together, according to the standout Slovenian player, will significantly increase their on-court chemistry.
Upon reflection of the previous campaign, Doncic acknowledged the challenges posed by Irving’s mid-season arrival.
Their opportunity to develop chemistry was severely limited because they did not have a full training camp or preseason.
Doncic said, “Obviously, it would be better,” as reported by ESPN’s Tim MacMahon. “He came in the middle of the previous season, and there wasn’t enough time. We jumped right into some games.
“It takes time to have a solid chemistry, especially on the court. The preseason and the extensive training camp were not precisely what we expected. I thus expect a big improvement,” he continued.
