Salah’s Historic Moment: Making Premier League History in Liverpool’s Victory

On Sunday, Egyptian sensation Mohamed Salah created history for Liverpool FC against West Ham United in the Premier League.

The 31-year-old opened the scoring with a penalty kick in the 16th minute, and the Reds went on to win 3-1 at Anfield Stadium.

This makes Salah the only player in history to accomplish this feat twice in a single season of league play.

Assists on goals in ten straight Premier League games. a club record for the Premier League and the first time anybody has accomplished this feat twice.

With 32 goals in 2017–18, Salah set a new Premier League record for the most goals scored by an African player in a single season.

The world-class winger also holds the record for most Premier League Player of the Month honors in a single season (2017-18).
