As two of their former attackers scored in the Europa League on Thursday night, supporters are starting to believe that Chelsea is “cursed.”

The Blues, who are currently 14th in the Premier League, have had a disappointing start to the season under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Only seven goals have been scored by Chelsea in their first six games of the season, and they have not scored in their last two.

Diego Costa, their most recent productive striker who left in 2017, left Stamford Bridge in 2017, thus their scoring problems are nothing new.

Since then, top attacking players Romelu Lukaku and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been acquired.

The latter only has three goals in his single season, while the former has only scored 15 goals since his 2021 contract renewal.
