Liverpool player Sadio Mane has donated about $800,000 to his native Bambali, Senegal, to build a hospital, school, post office, and petrol station.

Mane, who is widely speculated to leave Anfield for Bayern Munich this summer, went on a sloppy soccer match with former Premier League players Papiss Cisse and El-Hadji Diouf last week on a visit to Bambali.
By investing approximately £700,000 in new structures, he has completely revitalized his native community.
The 30-year-old traveled to the Senegalese hospital he helped establish the previous year, which now serves 34 neighboring communities, at a cost of £455,000.
Bambali now has a population of over 2,000 people thanks in large part to the generous forward, who also donated £250,000 to the village’s public secondary school.
The winger went back to his hometown in Senegal to take part in a sloppy neighborhood football game.
He was caught on tape not only donating funds to establish a post office, but also inaugurating a petrol station.
However, Mane’s kindness extends well beyond just footing the bill for brand new buildings.
