According to Erik ten Hag, Antony is ‘disappointed’ with his current circumstances and there is no set timetable for when he might rejoin his Manchester United teammates.

While he investigates claims of domestic abuse, Antony is currently absent from the club. The athlete has not been detained or charged and vehemently denies any misconduct.

Three other women, including the footballer’s former partner Gabriela Cavallin, have accused him of assaulting her four times.

Due to a mutually agreed-upon indefinite leave of absence from the club, the 23-year-old is unable to participate against Brighton this weekend.
