Liverpool has turned in their roster for the 2023-24 Premier League season’s first half.
Players from outside the league’s ‘homegrown’ criterion are limited to a maximum of 17 per team.
A homegrown player is one who has been registered with a club in England or Wales that is part of The Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a total of three full seasons (36 months) prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season in which he turns 21).
While teams are only allowed to deploy a maximum of 25 players total, U21 players (those born on or after January 1, 2002) do not count against this quota.
