‘UNSUNG HERO’: Eriksen continues shining when playing for Denmark, leading team in narrow win against Finland

Manchester United hasn’t had a good international break due to injuries, player off-field issues, public fights, and other issues.

Eriksen appreciated being relieved of defensive responsibilities so that he could start more forward than he does at United and be at his lock-picking best.

He was entrusted with linking the attack with the midfield as the No. 10 in a 4-2-3-1 and accomplished this skillfully.

In a match that primarily pitted Finland’s tenacious defense against Denmark’s aggressive offense, Eriksen made four crucial passes.
