Arsenal fans go wild as Declan Rice makes Mykhailo Mudryk ‘look like a child’ in England’s draw

Arsenal fans have expressed their delight after Declan Rice made former target Mykhailo Mudryk ‘look like a child’.

England took on Ukrɑine at the Tarczynski Arena in Poland on Saturday in a Euro 2024 qualifier that ended 1-1.

Mudryk endured another tough day at the office, this time for Ukrɑine

Arsenal fans have loved what Rice did to Mudryk in the match

All eyes were on the many players competing in the Premier League, even though it ended the Three Lions’ winning streak during their qualifying campaign.

That includes Rice and Mudryk, who are currently playing for Chelsea and Arsenal respectively and were once more on opposing teams.

Mudryk attempted to cut in on Kyle Walker at one point in the second half after skipping past Jordan Henderson.

Rice, however, swooped in and stole the ball with absolute ease, robbing the opponent of possession and positioning himself for a pass in one fluid motion, almost out of nowhere.

And it is safe to say that Arsenal fans absolutely loved the moment, with one saying: “Declan Rice making Mudryk look like a child.”

Another wrote with laughing face emojis: “What does that Mudryk guy even do?”

A third said: “Literally stole his lunch money.”

This fan put: “This is similar to the Odegaard backheel slide tackle. Arsenal Football Club is home to the sauciest players on planet earth and it is not close.”

While this supporter said: “This Mudryk guy can’t catch a break. Deccers schooling him.”

Arsenal were close to signing Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in January having had multiple bids rejected.

Mikel Arteta was desperate to sign the winger only for Chelsea to arrive out of the blue and snap him up.

But it has not quite worked out for the 22-year-old, who has yet to score a goal for the west London outfit despite signing for a fee of up to £88million.

Meanwhile, it was another Arsenal star who was in the headlines after Oleksandr Zinchenko scored for Ukrɑine in the 1-1 draw.

Kyle Walker equalised soon after to net his first Three Lions goal on his 77th cap.

But that was all Gareth Southgate’s side could muster as Ukrɑine clung on for a pivotal draw with just one shot on target.
