Internationals: Darwin Nunez Delivers Two Assists in Uruguay’s World Cup Qualifying Opener

Overnight, Uruguay defeated Chile 3-1 in their first qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup thanks in large part to two assists from Darwin Nunez.

The Liverpool No. 9 started in Montevideo for Marcelo Bielsa’s team and had a strong 73 minutes of action.
