Only two spots on the shirt will have any other colors other than black as the primary hue for this upcoming second kit.Around the neck will be a red and blue stripe, and these classic Barcelona hues will also be present on the sides. Additionally, the color of the sponsor’s name, Spotify, will change. While it is now displayed in white on the first kit and blue on the second white uniform, this logo will be in red for the upcoming season.
With a black kit, four seasonsThroughout its history, FC Barcelona has sported black in four different seasons. Barcelona first used black for one of their uniforms in the 2011–12 season, which was Pep Guardiola’s final with the Catalan club. The only elements in this extremely simple design were the bright yellow sponsor name and the Nike logo.
This second uniform was the club’s third kit the following year, as was customary at the time. The development of a new third kit didn’t begin until 2013, and in that year Barcelona chose black once more for their third uniform.
