Manchester United is interested in signing Jadon Sancho, who claimed on social media that Nando’s PERi-PERi sauce was named in his honor.
The most recent reason Jadon Sancho has made headlines is for a very different cause than the numerous times that news has been focused on his alleged transfer to Manchester United. In collaboration with Nike and the renowned restaurant chain Nando’s, the potential Manchester United transfer candidate developed his own PERi-PERi spicy sauce. Recently, Sancho has made a lot of fresh Nike announcements, including the launch of his sauce. He has also celebrated with the sportswear industry the upcoming shirt and shoe launches.
On social media, the Borussia Dortmund player announced the release of his PERi-PERi hot sauce. Jadon Sancho’s favorite flavors and spices from off the field are combined in the “Sancho Sauce,” a limited-edition sauce made just for him. The Jadon Sancho Nando’s sauce is described as the ultimate Medium PERi-PERi sauce with smoky undertones of BBQ and pineapple on the restaurant chain’s website.
Jadon Sancho’s PERi-PERi sauce cannot be purchased, therefore fans must “Show their Sauce” for a chance to win a unique bottle. The “Show Your Sauce” challenge asks fans to film themselves while showcasing their best abilities.
The “Show Your Sauce” competition begins on August 25 and ends on September 7, when Jadon Sancho declares the winner. Before the launch of the limited-edition Jadon Sancho PERi-PERi sauce, the words “Sancho Sauce” were prominently displayed on the new Nike boots that the footballer was endorsing. Jadon Sancho released pictures of his new footwear for the upcoming season on social media and displayed them there. A homage to his earlier cage football days, the majority of the Nike boots are blue. The SE11 Sancho Collection from the winger’s internet commercials also makes reference to the limited-edition Jadon Sancho Nando’s sauce.
