Ryan Gravenberch joined Liverpool through a £35 million deal from Bayern Munich on the last day of the transfer window. The star born in 2003 attaches great importance to wearing the Liverpool shirt to the extent that he refused the summons of the Netherlands U21 to focus on staying at the host club.
Gravenberch was named to the Netherlands U21 team during the upcoming international break against Moldova and North Macedonia in the Euro U21 qualifying round, but he refused to join. The former Bayern Munich midfielder’s decision caused him to be criticized by Dutch coach Ronald Koeman. Koeman affirmed his dissatisfaction because Gravenberch refused to play for the Netherlands U21 .
Meanwhile, Dutch U21 assistant Michael Reiziger also opposed this decision.
” I told Gravenberch that refusing to join the Netherlands U21 was the wrong decision. For a national team, for your country, you have to play with all your heart. So, you really have to join the team. He decided to stay at Liverpool to adapt. I know Gravenberch, he is a good and nice guy, but made the wrong choice .”

Szoboszlai has given an insight into the Liverpool dressing room
Salah has been the subject of two offers from Al-Ittihad, worth £150million and £170m.
And that interest is showing no signs of abating with rumours that Al-Ittihad will return with another offer worth £200m.
Jurgen Klopp said after the game that he was confident that Salah will still be at the club come the end of the Saudi window.
Sky Sports asked Szoboszlai, who opened the scoring in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa whether the dressing room had been talking about Salah’s proposed move.
Szoboszlai said: “Everyone is talking about it and of course we are talking about it to each other. But he wants to stay and be here so we are happy. He is a great person and we need guys like that.”

The Saudi league is anxious to make a move for Salah in order to make him the face of the league.
The state will reportedly pay the winger £2.4 million per week to compete in the Saudi Pro League, according to sources.
He currently earns roughly £350,000 per week at Liverpool.
The Premier League is powerless to stop its best players from leaving, according to Jurgen Klopp, because of the absurd amounts being offered.
However, Liverpool has imposed a limit on Salah and is unable to acquire a replacement now that the British transfer window has officially closed.Szoboszlai expressed his excitement at scoring his first goal in the game and expressed the hope that there would be many more to follow.
“In the first home game [against Bournemouth] we did not start so well and also at Newcastle, we did not start so well. So after a team meeting, we were told to start well and finish with 11 men. So we scored a quick goal and that was good. Hopefully, everyone will stay healthy.
“As a midfielder, we need time. We do not know each other so when the games come we will be even better and better.”
