DONE DEAL: Mason Greenwood officially completed Getafe’s loan contract and left Man Utd in tears!

Just a few minutes before the transfer window closed, MASON Greenwood agreed to a loan deal with a Spanish team.

The 21-year-old striker was detained in January 2022 and hasn’t played since.

Mason Greenwood, a loanee from Man United, has joined a Spanish team.

Getafe, a La Liga team, has finalized a last-minute loan agreement for the striker.

Although all charges were dropped in February, the Old Trafford organization announced last week that Greenwood would be leaving the club.

Getafe, a La Liga team, has now signed Greenwood to a season-long loan contract, pending international clearance.

It’s improbable that he will be registered in time for the Spanish team’s trip to Real Madrid tomorrow afternoon.

On September 17, Getafe’s game against Osasuna, Greenwood is most likely to make his debut.

According to rumors, United will pay Greenwood’s salary in full and won’t charge him a loan fee.

For the length of the loan, the Madrid-based team will also pay a minimal portion of his salary.

The transfer allows Greenwood to start reviving his career away from Manchester United, according to a statement from the club.

Mason and his family will continue to receive assistance from the club throughout this time of change.

Getafe is presently ranked twelve in the league and plays in the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, which has a seating capacity of 17,393.

According to MailOnline, Chief John Murtough has taken over the planning for the transfer to Getafe.

Prior to SunSport’s exclusive story that United had changed its mind in response to the explosive response, Greenwood had supposedly been on track to be welcomed back into the fold.

It was said that similar public backlash concerns prevented other English clubs from allowing Greenwood to return to the field.

At 11 p.m., the English clubs’ transfer window deadline, early queries from domestic teams were not followed up on.

Greenwood, who makes £75,000 a week, might have left United liable for up to £8 million if he hadn’t been sold.

He has two years left on his contract, and the club has the option to extend it by another year, so this is the case.

Greenwood had no choice but to be compelled to join a club overseas.

Today morning, Greenwood was reportedly granted a last-ditch reprieve by Lazio, a top European team, but the Italian deadline had passed by 7 o’clock.

There were no inquiries from Saudi Arabia, where teams have already signed Karim Benzema, Neymar, and Cristiano Ronaldo this season.

The Saudi Arabian deadline expires on September 7.
