He has become the third Dutch member of Jurgen Klopp’s squad, alongside Van Dijk and Gakpo.

After signing for the Reds, Gravenberch met several of his new team-mates at the club’s training ground.

Liverpool’s social media accounts filmed his tour of the facilities, which included his first meeting with Robertson.

As the pair crossed paths, the full-back quipped: “Finally, a good Dutch player.”

Laughter could be heard in the background after Robertson delivered his ice-cold dig.

21-year-old Gravenberch arrives after just a year with Bayern, having previously played over 100 times for Ajax.

The midfielder has played for the Netherlands at the senior level and was a part of their squad for the 2021 Euros.

Gravenberch joined the team on Friday and has already started practicing with them.

He won’t play for Liverpool until after the break, though, so fans will have to wait.

In order for Gravenberch to play on Sunday against Aston Villa, the deal could not be completed in time.

Instead, he will have his first chance to make his debut while visiting Wolves on September 16.
