He has become the third Dutch member of Jurgen Klopp’s squad, alongside Van Dijk and Gakpo.

After signing for the Reds, Gravenberch met several of his new team-mates at the club’s training ground.

Liverpool’s social media accounts filmed his tour of the facilities, which included his first meeting with Robertson.

As the pair crossed paths, the full-back quipped: “Finally, a good Dutch player.”

Laughter could be heard in the background after Robertson delivered his ice-cold dig.

21-year-old Gravenberch arrives after just a year with Bayern, having previously played over 100 times for Ajax.

The midfielder has also earned senior-level caps for the Netherlands, and he was a member of their team for the 2021 Euros.

After signing on Friday, Gravenberch has already practiced with his new teammates.

Fans will have to wait until after the intermission to watch him play for Liverpool, though.

The transfer was not finished in time for Gravenberch to play on Sunday against Aston Villa.

Instead, on September 16, he will have his first opportunity to make his debut while traveling to Wolves.
