Barcelona’s Ez Abde has officially transferred to Real Betis, the club said.
The deadline day was hectic for the Spanish champions, who were trying to finalize loan deals for Portugal’s Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix.
Barca had to make place in the budget for their new acquisitions, so they sold off some of its older players. The club has announced the departures of teenage winger Abde, defender Eric Garcia, and midfielder Ansu Fati for the 2023–24 season, and Garcia will be on loan to Girona.
FC Barcelona and Real Betis Balompie have agreed to transfer Ez Abde for 7.5 million euros,” read a statement released by Barcelona. The former owns the repurchase option and fifty percent of any future sale of the player.

At the beginning of the 2023–24 season, Abde made two appearances for Barcelona.
He’s signed with Real Betis, a team that’ll be playing in the Europa League this year. They also just signed high-profile free agent Isco.
