Reinier Jesus, a Real Madrid prospect, has finally finalized his departure from the club after a protracted and agonizing wait regarding his future during the summer transfer window.
In fact, the Merengues have formally announced that the 21-year-old offensive midfield prodigy has agreed to a season-long loan with Serie A upstart Frosinone.
“Real Madrid CF and Frosinone Calcio have agreed on the loan of the player Reinier for this season, until June 30, 2024,” stated the club’s official statement.
Reinier moved from Flamengo to Real Madrid in January 2020 in a deal of €30 million, however, he has yet to play a single game for the first squad.
The 21-year-old had two seasons on loan with Borussia Dortmund, but he did not accomplish anything particularly noteworthy. During the 2022–23 season, Reinier spent time on loan at Girona, but he did not exactly create a mark.
Reinier has now committed to Frosinone on a loan when it became evident that he would not play in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad this season.
There won’t be a permanent purchase option, as stated, therefore Reinier will return to Real Madrid for the upcoming campaign.
