Celtic have signed Nathaniel Phillips on loan for the first half of the 2023–24 season, contingent on the player receiving necessary international clearance.
After finalizing a move to Celtic Park on Thursday afternoon, the center back will join the Scottish team until January.
Since entering the Reds’ youth program in 2016, Phillips has made 29 appearances for the first team.
The 2020-21 season, in which he played in 20 games, was crucial in enabling Jürgen Klopp’s squad finish third in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old made five appearances for Liverpool in the 2017-18 campaign, the most recent being in January during an Emirates FA Cup match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
