Barcelona may be planning to offload a handful of players before the summer transfer window closes with just two days remaining.
Others may soon leave the club after Clement Lenglet, who has agreed on a season-long loan with Aston Villa. Eric Garcia, Ansu Fati, and Ez Abde specifically have all been strongly connected to leaving.
All three players, according to Diario AS, are now dissatisfied with head coach Xavi Hernandez about their individual positions at the club. Abde and Fati have been demoted to squad duties after losing out to players like Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres. After Inigo Martinez arrived earlier this summer, Garcia is still the same.
While at Barcelona, Xavi has made an effort to prioritize a solid, cohesive locker room, but fractures now seem to be emerging. In the coming days, it’s possible that the club will decide it’s better to let go of all three players.
