Transfer Rumors Heat Up: Al-Ittihad Offers Massive $162M Deal for Mo Salah πŸ”₯

Salah’s pay would be on line with that of Ronaldo and Neymar.

Liverpool has reaffirmed that he is not up for sale.

The transfer window’s closing days should be exciting.

To Al-Ittihad goes Mohamed Salah? A Saudi club is preparing a $162 million offer to try to convince Liverpool to sell.

The Premier League transfer deadline is this Friday, and Liverpool maintains that Salah is not for sale.

According to reports, Al-Ittihad intends to defy Liverpool’s steadfast position on maintaining Mohamed Salah by making an offer of €150 million ($162 million) for the 31-year-old Egyptian forward. The Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad have designated Salah as their top priority target, according to sources with knowledge of the situation, and they intend to conclude the deal before the transfer market shuts on September 20. The current transfer record in Saudi Arabia, set by Al-Hilal’s payment of $97 million for Neymar earlier this month, would be greatly surpassed by this potential deal.

According to the rumored agreement, Liverpool would receive about $108 million in guaranteed payments along with an extra $54 million in performance-based bonuses, some of which would be difficult to reach. Regardless of Al-Ittihad’s motives, Liverpool has steadfastly refused to sell Salah. In Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Newcastle, the Egyptian international recently displayed his undying talent by assisting Darwin Nunez’s game-winning goal.

Salah’s significance to the team was stressed by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in a public statement, which said, “Mo Salah is a Liverpool player and crucial for everything we do. The answer would be no if any offers came in. My life’s philosophy is to deal with issues as they come up, which is not happening right now.

Al-Ittihad is attempting to get Salah to go to Saudi Arabia by providing a compensation package on line with that of star players like Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, who are said to make over $216 million annually after incentives and endorsements. Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas, though, claimed earlier this month that they would not have extended Salah’s contract last summer if they had thought about leaving Liverpool this year. Salah’s dedication to Liverpool was stressed by Abbas, and the new contract, which adds two more years, makes Salah the highest-paid player in the team’s history.

Al-Ittihad’s intense pursuit of Salah in the closing hours of the transfer season is at least somewhat driven by their desire to make a big impression in the 2017 Club World Cup, which they will host in December. Sergio Ramos, a former defender for Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, has emerged as a viable choice for the Saudi Arabian champions’ active search for a prominent center-back reinforcement. They declared interest in Raphael Varane of Manchester United and Gabriel of Arsenal, but so far their efforts have not been successful.
