Manager Xavi Hernandez has released the roster that will go to La Ceramica with Barcelona on Sunday, 2023, to face Villarreal in the team’s third game of the 2024 season.

Many promising young players, like Pau Cubarsi, 16, and defensive phenoms Lamine Yamal, Fermin Lopez, Ander Astralaga, Diego Kochen, and Marc Casado, all made the cut.

The Blaugrana officially registered Marcos Alonso with La Liga on Friday night, making him eligible to be included in the squad for the first time this season. However, Inaki Pena isn’t here since he hasn’t yet completed the registration process.

Also on the list is left back Alejandro Balde, who Xavi said earlier today was not injured but had experienced a slight knock in training the day before.

Pedri and Ronald Araujo are both out with injuries, while Inigo Martinez isn’t included since he hasn’t yet signed up for the team despite being in the home stretch of his recuperation. Raphinha was banned from participating.
