Moises Caicedo is quickly becoming a big hit among Chelsea fans, with some supporters taking to social media following their 3-0 win against Luton on Friday night. 

He made his full debut for the club after Mauricio Pochettino’s side broke the British transfer record to sign the Ecuador international for £115million from Brighton. 

While he missed out on making his Premier League debut for the side during their 1-1 draw against Liverpool, Caicedo came on in the 61st minute against West Ham, but endured a debut to forget, giving away a penalty in the dying embers of their 3-1 defeat. 

Jamie Carragher labelled his first game for the Blues as a ‘nightmare’ while also branding the challenge to concede the penalty as ‘lazy’.

His manager has stuck by him, and while he did look a little nervous in front of his home fans at the start, he settled into the game.

Caicedo went on to tally up a passing accuracy of 96.8 per cent while making over 60 passes during the game.
