Lisandro Martinez is eligible for Manchester United this weekend despite being replaced against Wolves at halftime.
Although Harry Maguire might not be present, Lisandro Martinez has flown to Tottenham with the Manchester United team for their Premier League match.
Martinez suffered an ankle injury during the first half of the game against Wolves, but manager Erik ten Hag said on Thursday that Martinez had trained.
On Friday in the late afternoon, United arrived at Stockport Station without ex-captain Maguire. Despite the availability of several auxiliary players, Ten Hag might start two goalies.
United won eight away games in the Premier League last year, but they only managed to overcome one of the top twelve teams.
In April, Spurs tied United 2-2 after falling down 2-0 at the break. This Saturday’s match will mark their first at home under new boss Ange Postecoglou.
Ten Hag cited United’s poor performance on the road as one of the team’s goals for the current campaign. “We have to step up in away games to get more points to bring higher levels because that is, of course, the foundation for more points,” Ten Hag stated.
“So, it frequently has to do with personality.” In order to win these games and rack up more points away from home, I therefore need the players to show more personality on the pitch.
Even though United was one of the Premier League clubs criticized for taking internal flights to games, they used the train from Stockport Station to Euston.
A Green Football Weekend was held in February to bring attention to the issue of climate change.
