Sadio Mane had a hilarious reaction

Before the game began, when the two teams were shaking hands, Sadio Mane had a humorous experience. When the 31-year-old shook Qassem Lajami of Al Fateh’s hand, Mane hilariously made a quick flip around and wore a bewildered expression. Why did Sadio Mane decide to join Al-Nassr?

The 31-year-old said that Roberto Firmino and Fabinho, two former Liverpool teammates, first tried to persuade him to join Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad, but he ultimately chose to join Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.

He gave his mum credit for facilitating his decision to relocate to Saudi Arabia. Through The National News, he stated:

Since I got the chance, I spoke to my family, who were naturally the happiest because it is a Muslim nation. I was strongly encouraged to go by my mother. It was not difficult because it is essential to my faith, and my mother, who is Muslim like me, was the first to vote for me to come here. We have a promising future ahead of us, so I’m happy to be a part of this project and help it move forward.

Mane acknowledged that it was difficult to pass up the opportunity to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo:

“I think you can see how quickly everything moves for me because he [Ronaldo] is undoubtedly one of the best players in history, if not the best. That was simple for me because he makes things simpler for me. To make the club a true success, I am really pleased to start the league with all these youngsters, including (Brazil midfielder) Talisca. They are all really outstanding players.

With two goals in his first three games for Al-Nassr, Sadio Mane has had a strong start. He triumphed in the Arab Club Champions Cup as well.
