CITY OF LIVERPOOL, England (Associated Press) — Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, has knocked off rumors that Mohamed Salah may be leaving for Saudi Arabia.
Several British outlets claimed on Thursday that Al-Ittihad was interested in signing Salah, who is 31 years old and still has two years remaining on his contract with Liverpool.
On Friday, Klopp stated, “From our perspective, there’s nothing to talk about.” Mo Salah is a member of the Liverpool team. Obviously crucial to the work we undertake.
Absolutely nothing. The response, if there were anything, would be “no.”
Ramy Abbas Issa, Salah’s agent, has said that the Egyptian attacker is fully committed to Liverpool as of this month.
