According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool has inquired about Kalvin Phillips’ availability to leave Manchester City this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool has inquired about purchasing Man City’s Kalvin Phillips.
Last year, Manchester City paid £45 million to acquire Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United (Sky Sports)
Although he only participated in 593 minutes of games in all competitions the year before, many people still believed the Englishman was a good addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad.
As a result, there have been whispers that he may be convinced to leave the Etihad this summer, with Liverpool being cited as a prospective suitor.
Romano has disclosed that the Reds have made inquiries about signing him.
He said: “Liverpool started the conversation to be informed on the situation of another player, who is Kalvin Phillips.
“It’s true that Liverpool asked about the situation of Kalvin Phillips because the priority of the player has always been to stay at Manchester City and fιght for his place at City.
“But then, at the moment, there is no concrete negotiation club to club.”

A really intriguing alternative for Liverpool is Kalvin Phillips.
It’s obvious that the 27-year-old is talented. He has distinguished himself at the highest level for both club and country, and with a coach like Jurgen Klopp, he might improve even more.
Phillips, a champion of the Champions League, won’t start each match for Manchester City. Although he won’t take Rodri’s job, things at Anfield might be drastically different.
This might make the relocation quite alluring, but it’s not clear that it will be implemented in the near future.
