Julen Lopetegui drops Real Madrid return hint.

Former Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui would not rule out a future return to the club.

After a controversial departure from the Spain national team in July 2018, Lopetegui assumed control of Los Blancos.

As part of an agreement with Real Madrid, Lopetegui had agreed to begin work after the 2018 World Cup in Russia, but he was abruptly fired from his position with La Roja due to the scandal.

He eventually moved to Madrid, however he only held the role for four months due to a shaky start to the 2018–19 season.

Before taking over at Wolves in November 2022, Lopetegui won the UEFA Europa League with Sevilla in 2020.
